(More customer reviews)I have been using this mic for about 9 months and find it very good. I record mostly student piano as well as piano & violin. I have used this for student CDs as well as recitals.
This is an omni-directional mic, so I'm also hoping to make use of it recording a choir performance next month.
It does require 48V power (or 48V phantom). It appears to have a nice response from the base of the piano to the top of the violin range with little or no distortion.
While it comes boxed with decent foam, I would have preferred something a little more carrying-case like.
