(More customer reviews)After much research as to what would work with my Kodak zi-8 and then attempting to find it in a B & M store I resorted to online search. Bingo! I found it and at a terrific price. The dealer had in my hands even faster than his estimate. The movable arm broke right after I got it so it is locked into position.The mic has excellent sound quality if you are filming and speaking directly into the camera. It falls seriously short when mounted on a tripod and filming. The voice is distant and has a strange sound. I continue to look. I need something to do my video interviews for my real estate business but found this is not the product. I am now looking for something that will produce decent sound as I interview someone from about six feet away. However, if you can get this product at a decent price I would suggest your purchase it understanding its limitations.
