(More customer reviews)Product description states "converts a 3.5mm mono mini jack input to a male XLR output", however, when I plug a mono source into the adapter I get no signal. When I insert a 3.5mm mono to stereo converter between the source and the adapter, it works perfectly. Luckily this extra adapter doesn't seem to cause any noise or signal loss, but it reduces the convenience I thought the Rode was going to provide. Seems like mono and stereo got switched in the description, please fix!
