(More customer reviews)I was attending a family reunion and needed a gift for the hosts. Upon the suggestion of a family member, I purchased the Entertech ET-13000 karaoke system. I couldn't be happier with the purchase; it was an absolute hit. The unit is very easy to set up (RCA audio and video cables, power cord) and we were good to go moments after opening the package. The use of the machine is very easy: press the code for a song, hit the "play" button, and you're on your way to a good time! The song selection lacks some of the popular hits you may expect to find in a karaoke catalog at your local bar, but there were plenty of great songs to choose from. Some to test the pipes, some songs everyone can sing along to, and some songs that just make everyone laugh out loud. Who doesn't love a good rendition of "Total Eclipse of the Heart"? The base system comes with a large music catalog, and the included song chip adds several more popular songs; just don't forget to unearth the extra song pages that come with the chip. The price may be a factor for several potential customers, but if you're thinking of dropping $100 on a basic CD system with no built-in songs, and then buying some CDs, this is a great alternative. Now we need to buy one for ourselves.
