(More customer reviews)I was looking for an inexpensive stand with a boom and tripod base. This stand was a ridiculously low $12.68 when I ordered from Amazon. So I expected something flimsy and unsteady. But right off when it was delivered I was impressed by the weight, before I even opened the box. It's sturdy and solid, and all of the tightening screws turn easily and hold steady. As the other reviewer mentioned, it is not black as it appears in the picture but rather shiny chrome. No matter... for the price I paid I would've given it 10 stars if I could've.
At the time of this writing, the price has jumped to $31.35. Even at that price you won't feel cheated, but you might want to throw it into your cart and 'Save for Later', then keep checking back on your cart to see if the price drops. You never know with Amazon... the prices on some items seem to blow with the wind, sometimes changing multiple times even within the same day.
