(More customer reviews)We needed a sound-system for a conference room, and this fit the bill perfectly. The speakers themselves fit perfectly in the 2x2 ceiling grid, and I used four Gripple cables to secure them easily. I would not recommend installing the speakers without some type of security cables attached as they are very heavy. The sound quality is very good with no distortion and they look and perform like high-quality speakers should.
Also included with this system was an amp and dual wireless receiver. Getting all this hooked up took literally 2 minutes, and it was just a matter of running the speaker wire beyond that. The hand-held mic is wireless and runs on a 9-volt battery, as does the headset mic. Both work very well and the range was excellent. We tested the wireless mics from up to 120 feet away and the system still picked it up perfectly with no drop-out at all.
The instructions, although not really needed much were very clear and easy to understand, unlike a lot of user manuals you get these days. The only thing you really need to do after plugging everything in is make sure the wireless mics are on the same channel as the dual wireless receiver; again the instructions cover this.
I'd definitely purchase this system again for the ease of install and quality of products that I found in this system.
