(More customer reviews)I bought this for use as a desk stand for my podcast and it works fine. The only con is the base could be a bit heavier, I use a shock mount and a pop filter and when I xtend the boom it tips the stand over. I used gaffers tape to keep it from tipping.
Also the knobs are made of plastic if your a drummer i'd get a better stand this will not stand up to life on the road.
