(More customer reviews)I originally purchased a pair of GLS cables and they were noisy. I had a ring at about the 10k-15k Hz range with the GLS, plus the bass was loose, muddy, and boomy. Fast forward 3 days (thanks to Amazon prime student) and I received this WONDERFUL Monster cables.
No noise at all from these cables, just a clean, tight signal. I have a set of QSC K10s with a K-Sub hooked up, and I have Monster 500 cables all around running the sound. Trust me, don't get anything less than this.
Did I hear the hum when the music was playing with the GLS cables? No, but the sound was not as tight and clean. If you don't have high-grade speakers maybe it won't make a difference for you, but if you do (and you're serious about sound) then buy these cables or something better . . . . if there is something better.
