(More customer reviews)Now, don't get me wrong. I currently own a Sound Ambassador and it really sounds good and works well.
What I have an issue with is that as of June 12, 2010, It will be against the FCC rules to use any of the 700 mhz "block D" channels for wireless mikes and speakers. The wireless mike and receiver pictured here are an accessory to these systems.
If you do get one of these speakers make sure they install the 2.4 GHZ module for your wireless mike.
I have tried for weeks to e mail and call Phonic in FLA and their phone always rings busy and they won't answer my e mails.
This indicates that they are getting hammered by customers and don't have an answer.
Also keep in mind that their wireless speaker units all use the 700mhz band and are also unusable after June.
I own a PA service and have at least half dozen of these units that are no longer able to operate as the FCC has just assigned the band to Law enforcement.
Guess it's my tough luck....
They are really missing an opportunity...If they had an upgrade or a rebate I would spend money for it......now???? No Way!
Good Luck
