(More customer reviews)I am a professional entertainer and I regularly do birthday parties and singing telegrams. I use the Audio 2K to be heard over the roar of happy kids and also to play music. For both, the Audio 2K does quite well. It is not loud enough for large groups, but I did not expect that. I have larger and bulkier speaker systems for that. The Audio 2K is more than adequate to handle smaller and mobile groups of people.
PROS: Fantastic price. One of the least expensive PA units out there. It is comfortable and lightweight. And everything packs into the included carrying bag.
CONS: The Audio 2K is not capable of playing two different audio sources simultaneously. Either you can talk or play music, but not both. But this to was expected. There is also a sound distortion if you attempt to turn your music player too loud. You will have to experiment a little to find the comfortable ranges. Also the units will recharge batteries, but there is no included battery charging cables. So far the battery life for the Audio 2K is better than average. I haven't had to replace any batteries yet after a month of consistent usage.
In short the Audio 2K is a worthwhile and inexpensive investment. Get this if you need portable sound amplification for small groups.
