(More customer reviews)I needed a 48V phantom power supply to juice up my Rode NTG-1 microphone. I have a Sony HDR-HC1 camera that takes a microphone input, including an XLR mic - which I have. Looked around at the more expensive phantom supply, which had lots of great reviews, yet hardly anyone said anything about this ART Phantom II Dual Supply. I took a gamble and purchased it. It works great!! It takes a 9V battery - though my only complaint is that the battery jiggles around in its compartment a little bit - but still, it doesn't affect the microphone.
