(More customer reviews)I use this microphone with the noise reduction feature in VERY loud environments. I've done comparisons with loud music in the background and found that the noise reduction not only reduced the lows and highs of the environment's background music but amplified the frequencies that the normal human voice has...giving crisp vocals in a loud environment. If there was a more accurate battery meter on the noise reduction unit...that would be helpful, but the quality of this unit is very high. I have done some product research and have not come across a microphone that has an external noise reduction piece of hardware. They discontinued this model, so I would grab these if you can. Recommended.
