(More customer reviews)I have a home "studio" - but it isn't really a studio. It's just a spare room in my house. I don't have a tiny recording booth. I don't have an acoustically dead space *anywhere* in the house. In trying to improve the quality of my home recordings, I wanted to give this a try before committing money by the hundreds to brand name acoustic foam sound absorption products.
This seems to be a good middle-ground step towards improving recording quality. I may still need to apply some acoustic foam to a cheap 3-way folding screen, but not yet.
This is a good product but it doesn't adapt easily to a boom-style microphone stand. I ended up taking the boom off of my microphone stand and just making it a straight vertical stand with my side-address microphone.
