(More customer reviews)There is a lot of choices for good vocal microphones in the market today, I purchased this one because I have had very good results with EV speakers. Not a surprise to me that this is a very high quality microphone. It has a nice proximity effect that produces nice tight low end without getting "boomy." I prefer this mic to my old shures and the shure betas..........really cuts through the mix in a live performance situation.
The package deal is really a good one. The mic stand I received was an ON STAGE brand product but not the bottom-of the-line...........as sturdy as you'll find for a tripod base boom stand under $50. The mic cable on the other hand was kind of junky. ........itermittant connection problems at the mic end first thing which made me wonder for a second if the mic wasn't "poopy." But alas, just a junky 24 gage mic cord with the cheapest imported junk connectors.
The package qualified for free shipping but I watched the tracking info as it sat in Indiana for about a week while I got impatient, but it did arrive on the scheduled date.
All in all, GREAT mic, Great Deal
