(More customer reviews)I bought MXL2001A because reading from a person's blog. That person review a lot of mics by openning them and other tests. Usually those mics are much more expensive, but this is the only one he likes among the cheaper ones. I had a Samson C03U (USB mic), but the sound quality was much worse (seems certain frequency missing, only suitable for certain types of songs)compared to this mic + my M-audio fast track pro (built-in 48V power). I also have a Samson Q7, a dynamic one. MXL2001A has a brighter sound compared to Samson Q7, but not exageriting. Seems this brand isn't very well known compared to others haha, but I like it.
