(More customer reviews)I purchased this system for use in a health-care related business in Ohio. I work in the IS department and we have stand-up meetings twice a week. The department has grown and it was becoming increasingly difficult to hear the person speaking and needed an amplified microphone/speaker system.
I searched Amazon and found the Hisonic HS321. It comes with a wireless, hand-held microphone. The system is extremely easy to use. You turn on the main unit, hand-held microphone and adjust the volume... that's it. No wires, no expert A/V person needed. (The main unit is battery operated too - rechargeable battery.) We tested it at great distances as well and could not get anything but clear audio from the speaker. The speaker volume can be adjusted to a level much higher than needed for our office area. We then tested it in an open (noisy) 3-story atrium and it performed very well. Previously when listening to someone speak in our atrium, we would set up a two-speaker, Fender PA system. The speakers are mounted on tripods and the Fender system does a great job as you would expect. But we tried the Hisonic system and everyone was able to hear perfectly. It is so much easier to break out the portable Hisonic system. It has a rechargeable battery so we don't even need to plug it in to use it. I charged the system overnight just after receiving it. Since then, I have used the system eight times and the battery is still going strong. (I do intend to keep it charged regularly.) Now other parts of our business are requesting to use the unit.
Recently, I ordered a wireless lapel microphone to use with the unit and I actually purchased the wrong item. I wanted a microphone that worked directly with the unit like the wireless handheld microphone that it came with. Instead I ordered a lapel microphone that has a receiver unit that would then be plugged into the Hisonic. (By the way, the Hisonic has several auxillary inputs to be used with a wired microphone or other wired audio devices.) I didn't like the additional base unit that needed plugged into the Hisonic. I e-mailed Kaito Electronics about returning the microphone and I received an e-mail less than an hour later! They offered to take the item back. They explained I could buy a wireless lapel microphone that works directly with the Hisonic... all I would have to do is give them the assigned frequency number on the main unit. I have since ordered this microphone and decided to keep the other unit since it could be used at the same time.
I am VERY pleased with the product AND the company. The PA system is great. The customer service is superb. I purchase a lot of electronics on Amazon from many different vendors and have never had such a great experience as this. I will not hesitate to purchase anything in the future form this company.
