(More customer reviews)I have used this unit frequently for over a year now, and have been incredibly pleased with it. The unit has clear, crisp sound at all frequencies (both voice and music sources work well). Wireless mics meet or even exceed the rated range. Battery life is essentially undiminished even after a year of use. I have used the handheld mics as well as the lavelier mic belt packs-- no discernable difference in quality from either transmitter source. I have successfully used this for crowds of 100 both indoors and outdoors. In my experience, sound quality outdoors starts getting muddy at about 200 feet, which is entirely acceptable given the unit's size.
I did manage to come up with a few nits...
Lav mic has a rather narrow pickup angle compared to the handheld units.... getting it aimed properly got to be a bit annoying, and I tend to use the handheld more often as a result.
I get more static interference when under battery power than under A/C power. Strangely enough, retracting the antenna of the receiver when on battery power has proven to eliminate 90% of the interference when it does occur.
