(More customer reviews)I decided to add a review to the limited edition DP-004 page because no one has and you should know it is the same exact recorder as the regular DP-004 with the addition of a nice looking gun-metal finish. It is going for a bit cheaper because I believe retailers are trying to dump them as they are discontinued, its a deal so go for it if you're trying to choose. I've got this one and its been great so far, sound quality is exceptional for an entry level unit. I had been recording by running mics and guitars into a Lexicon interface straight to Garageband. The Tascam sounds better. Functionality is simple enough though you'll need to keep the manual close by at first unless you are experienced with these type of devices. Its ergonomically well put together for something so tiny, smoothly moving knobs and well placed buttons. The screen is sufficient though a backlit display would be nice, you won't see it on a dark stage without a flashlight. File transfer to your computer is pretty easy, just move the files to the FAT partition of the recorder and use USB or an SD card reader to take what you need. I would highly recommend the PS-P520 AC adapter ($25) if you're going to use it with any frequency. It devours batches of AAs.Tascam PSP520 AC Adapter/Power Supply For Mpgt1
