(More customer reviews)I gave this a two-star rating earlier, but I think a retraction and one more star is in order. This is not a million-dollar mic, but it has the first-level usage that I need at the moment to record my spoken word projects. As it turns out, it sounds better plugged in the mic port in the BACK of my computer instead of the front one. That was the problem which prompted me to give this two stars. With a switch of ports and a volume increase, this is a fine mic. Not the best, but not the worst.
