(More customer reviews)I had this recommended as the Microphone for bird recording. Sensitive and rugged. It lives up to the billing.
I had a moment of panic as I initially could not get any sound out of it but found my recorder needed high impendance and this is low. A transformer from radio shack fixed that.
A shock suspension system is required especially as I use in field and any bump or even rubbing of the microphone cable is picked up.
