SEE MY REVIEW FOR DISCOUNT JUNGLE SEPT. 10, 2010. Heidi H. I am unable to add to my review after then put their "special note" on it so I am warning people here.
We had an issue with them sending me a used item instead of new like I ordered and was charged for. They took it back and it did not cost me anything, but this does not change the fact that they sent me a product that was taken out and played with then thrown back into a beat up, ratty box with a little bit of bubble wrap to keep the rattling down, in place of the new product I ordered. No it did not cost me anything to send it back but we did show up empty handed to a 5 year old birthday party using the lame excuse "its on its way, I ordered it online" (boy did we look like winners). This all would have been fine except...
I received an email yesterday from DiscountJungle asking me to take down my bad review. I then read my review again and noticed they posted a "seller response" that completely discredits my claim. I received a bunch of parts rattling around in a box and according to their "seller response" I received a brand new product. Which is NOT true. IT WAS NOT BRAND NEW LIKE THEY SAID! And I resent the fact that they would try to discredit a customer like that. They should really stop and think about other ways to boost their reviews such as NOT SENDING OUT USED items and doing it right the first time instead of going back and trying to get people to take their reviews down or trying to discredit them.
Do they really have a 95% positive rating or is it because they have asked other bad reviews to be taken down? Hmm
