(More customer reviews)yep, here is what I did: I mounted this on top of my guitar amplifier (fender blues junior) and then took a gooseneck, and viola, I didnt have to have a cumbersome mic stand on stage that I might trip over. Was great for smallish gigs with minimal floor space, and it kept my sound guy/singer (Jim) very happy. I wouldnt mount it on a vintage amp though. Just sayin.
