I bought one for use in the church and assumed that it just wasn't going to pass the test at this price. A Countryman mic runs more than $300 with the wire! It proved me wrong. We're using it in place of the lavalier that came with the wireless Shure SLX beltpack for speaking only. We have not tried it for singing. It sounds as good as the Shure Lavalier but is quite a bit hotter. It's probably 12-15db hotter. We turned it down at the belt pack and are very happy with it. Time to order some spares at this price.
