(More customer reviews)Before anything, I returned this case. It turns out that it did not fit our wireless Shure microphones. We have 2 sets of the wireless SM58 and they were a bit too long. However, I am not rating this based on this. I am rating it 3 stars on the quality and build of it.
This case itself is nice. As others suggested, it may or may not withstand the touring well but it is pretty handy for basic storage. I am sure that this would work well for our church microphones as we do not move them around as much. It is strikingly similar to a fishing tackle bag along with similar material.
One thing I did not like about this is that when I placed our wired Shure microphones (Beta 87A, Shure SM58, other older cheaper AKGs) it would sink in and be nearly impossible to take out. Seems the circumference of the slots fits the mics just well enough to not be able to squeeze your fingers in to pull them out. This is also true because the foam is a bit hard. I had to flip the case upside down to get the mic to drop out. And that was with only one microphone; imagine having a few in there already while trying to get one out. With some modification/shaving of the foam, this should be solved but it'd be nice if it would work fine out of the box.
For $50, it is decently priced considering all other hard cased are in the $100+ range. All in all, I would buy it again on a budget and if I didn't need it for our wireless microphones.
