(More customer reviews)It feels well made and has a rubbery coating. The clip itself seems to be made out of a good plastic, a little more flexible than my old clip (which cracked in two). I have not tried using it to do serious recording yet. The vibration dampening, while not as good as a microphone cage, is surprisingly good, and definitely better than a normal clip.
I have not tried it for instrument recordings yet. However, it works great for the oversized Rock Band microphone, which fits perfectly.
This is a good microphone clip, well worth the price. Just make sure it is the correct size for your microphone before you buy....
