(More customer reviews)I know, rating a Wow for a piece of metal, come on. Well, compared to the piece of plastic this is replacing, yeah this is a WoW. I purchased the Sima SLB-M video bracket so I can mount a microphone off and away from my camera. The microphone I use is the Audio-Tech. Pro 24 Stereo Condenser Mic. The microphone is great, but the mounting adapter that came with it is, well to sum it up in one word: SUCKS! It's cheap plastic that will get damaged very easily (trust me, I have the pieces to prove that). I know this is a simple item, but it really is a solid chunk of metal that is very well made. Glides into the hot shoe slot with ease and locks down my mic so securely the mic and handle will break before this adapter will. I am buying more just to have on hand. Highly recommended.
