(More customer reviews)I use this mic for recording vocals in my studio. I put the mic into the sound booth, and run a cord out of the booth into my audio interface, and into my computer. Audio is amazingly clear on this mic. It sounds very good for vocals, singing, or using it for podcasting or something. (Thought I'd suggest something cheaper like a Blue Snowball for Podcasting)
Anyway, it produces fantastic vocals, and keep in mind, it does require phantom power. This means you can't just plug it into your amps and expect it to work, it has to go through something that gives it the required power. In my case, my Tascam interface.
