After researching why this was happening I realized I needed a shorter cord that was made to cut down on this type of static. This cable has met my needs and more. I already had a Planet Waves cable for my Variax guitar and it has been durable even under abuse. This mic cable's swiveling connectors are awesome. It makes it easy to make the cord go in the direction I need it. My work space is tight. This cord arrived super fast and was packaged well so I was pleased with the product and the seller. I want Planet Waves cable for all my instruments.
