(More customer reviews)This turned out to be perfect for positioning my vocal mic right above my piano keyboard in my home recording studio. My keboard, sound system, and computer are all located on a wooden rack with multiple shelves. The clamp attaches solidly to one of the shelves and then the swinging, swiveling boom arm is easily adjusted to the ideal position for singing with keyboard accompaniment. When it's not in use I just swing it back out of the way. The extension length of the boom arm is also adjustable. The design, material, build quality and ease of use all get 5 stars! I had to order a mic clip separately. I would not have minded paying even a bit more for this Heil boom if they had included a mic clip with it. Great product.
