(More customer reviews)I bought the Rode SM-5 mount to use on my Canon XHA1s camcorder with a NTG-1 Rode mic. With a Dead Cat windshield, the hairs were visible in the frame (wide shots) because the on-camera mic mount isn't tall enough. So the SM-5 solved that issue for me.
