(More customer reviews)Okay, I'm really excited to record stuff. I looked for a kit to listen to instrumental performances of my own for feedback and improvement. Also, I'd like to produce little tracks of voice and audio for small animation projects. So I got this neat little kit. I really would have appreciated a little card saying "set this knob here, and this knob here, and move this knob this way when recording and this way when playing back" because I don't speak Recordingengineerese. Now, when I did crack a couple features, I found out they're freakin' awesome, and I cannot wait to play with them some more.
Apparently, however, there's no way to save the work in a useful format unless you upgrade to Pro . . . Yikes! Instead of returning the kit, though, I upgraded, and I'll give it my best shot. I'll try to update this review.
